User Baron over at www.hawaii247.com aparently has some insight in his servers CPU use. A feat i’d like to have on my hosting package.
Anyway. It seems he’s monitoring it and noticed a very very visible improvement over previous versions of AdRotate after upgrading to AdRotate 3.7. He linked me a screenshot of the graph on the forum. Also shown below.
Going from a average load of 0.25-0.35 to 0.05-0.10 doesn’t seem like a big deal. But for websites it can make the difference between a fast or slower site. This is where the dozens of improvements of AdRotate come into play. Optimized code. Smaller, less complex arrays and ofcourse less MySQL interaction where possible. This is what the update was all about!
Do you see similar improvements? Post them in the comments!
